Senior Research Accountant

A company is looking for a Senior Research Accountant responsible for analyzing financial information and performing various accounting duties related to sponsored project data.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze financial data and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies

Monitor and reconcile project fund accounts, including budget variances and cost transfers

Assist with supervision of staff and provide training on sponsored project accounting policies

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office 365 software

Experience with Banner Finance and related financial systems

Supervisory experience preferred
