Job Summary
As a Cafe Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee the success of the cafe operation while aligning with the client's culture and guidelines, adhering to Health Department regulations, and upholding Company standards for food quality, freshness, and presentation.
You will also maintain a positive relationship with the client.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure the quality and excellence of food offerings.
- Implement and improve food programs in line with client preferences.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 9 associates.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
- Oversee financial aspects, including budgeting and cost control.
- Analyze cafe financials to optimize profitability.
- Manage the overall pantry aspects of the cafe, including inventory and sales.
- Enhance the customer experience through effective retail strategies.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the cafe.
Preferred Qualifications :
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in food service operations.
- Strong communication skills, both in clear speaking and attentive listening.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A genuine passion for exceptional food.
- Fundamental culinary knowledge, including kitchen practices, protocols, and procedures.
- Commitment to upholding Company Health & Safety standards.
