IT Support Technician

• Overview :

We're seeking an IT Support Technician to join a dynamic team responsible for setting up and maintaining computer labs and related equipment in an academic environment. This role involves hands-on technical support, including desktop setup, hardware deployment, and assisting with remote desktop access and printing services. Training will be provided for areas where additional experience is needed.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Set up and configure computer labs, including hardware installation and software deployment.
• Support users with desktop, printing, and remote access issues.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of specialized lab equipment.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for hardware and software problems.
• Deliver responsive customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
• Participate in technology rollouts and upgrades as needed.
• Required Skills :
• Experience with desktop support and hardware troubleshooting.
• Understanding of endpoint security and basic system administration.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and general deployment processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Preferred Qualifications :
• 1-2 years of relevant technical support experience.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, academic setting.
• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00 / hr.
