What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the educational location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the campus environment. Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by site. Observe and report any suspicious activities and / or security-related incidents encountered during patrols. Assist visitors, students, and staff with questions or directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence. Collaborate with campus personnel and Allied Universal management as required to address security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements : Must be at least 21 years of age. Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred. Ability to ride a bike for extended periods of time is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
