Summary :

The Tax Accountant assists with all aspects of tax compliance including the preparation of property, sales / use, information, excise and federal, state and local income tax returns. The Tax Accountant also assists with providing tax support and guidance to field operations and other corporate office departments.

Responsibilities :

Include but are not limited to :

• Assist with the preparation of property, sales / use, information and excise tax returns
• Assist with the preparation of federal, state and local corporate income tax filings
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual federal, state and foreign tax provisions
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly federal, state and local estimated tax payments
• Assist with providing estimating teams with tax information for bids - sales and use, property, miscellaneous
• Assist with researching and responding to tax questions from field operations and corporate office personnel
• Assist with the day-to-day administration of sales / use, property and excise tax audits
• Carry out job duties while maintaining Lane values
• Other duties as assigned
