ArcelorMittal Calvert is a global steel producer focused on safety, innovation, and digital transformation. Located in Calvert, Alabama, our facility processes high-value steel grades and supports communities with sustainable manufacturing practices.
We are seeking an SAP Technical Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical leadership to a multi-functional SAP ABAP / Fiori team across projects and daily operations. The role requires understanding business processes, designing robust SAP solutions, and delivering optimized user experiences to support ArcelorMittal Calvert's operations.
The Basics
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience
- 3+ years coordinating SAP ABAP development teams
- 2+ years as a functional analyst for SD or MM modules
- Proficiency in ABAP and Fiori / UI5 development with strong architecture understanding
- Knowledge of SAP development architecture and best practices including CAP, RAP, BTP, and clean core principles
- Involvement in project implementations for SD, MM, FI, and PM modules
- At least 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations
- Project management skills (planning, tracking, issue resolution, risk mitigation, metrics)
- Proficiency in MS Office
