Water/Wastewater Engineer
Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Water / Wastewater Engineer to their Chicago team!
Responsibilities :
- Manage pipeline study / engineering project design
- Lead preparation of design documents (Plans, Specifications, Estimate of Probable Costs)
- Prepare permit applications for local, state and federal agency approval
- Monitor project performance (Client Satisfaction, Project Schedule, and Budget)
- Attend client meetings (present proposed designs, answer questions, and coordinate work)
- Provide technical guidance to project teams
- Mentor / train junior staff
- Perform quality control reviews
- Assist in preparation of proposals and agreements (Project Approach, Staffing, and Fee Development)
- Build / maintain client relationships
Requirements :
- in Civil Engineering
- 6+ years of experience managing water and wastewater projects
- Illinois PE License
- Member of professional / technical societies
- Experience preparing design plans and specifications, writing reports, and business correspondence
- Valid driver’s license
Salary is commensuratewith experience.
