POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
This Remote position will be responsible for acting as the liaison between IT and specific business functions to understand both business operational and development needs, to assist with the oversight and prioritization of IT projects, to develop IT / business capability roadmaps and to ensure IT projects align with technology that best provides return on investment aligning to both the IT and business strategies.
The BR / P Manager will manage the overall delivery of IT services to the designated business function, including vendor, program and project management. This position will coordinate with the PMO, engineering, architecture, data and technology services teams for ensuring quality of support and solutions. The BR / P Manager will provide its own project portfolio and program management, as well as serve as lead project manager as needed.

To represent IT within the a business domain by maintaining a high degree of visibility within the business and attending business meetings and appropriate management forums, providing a central point of information for all related IT activitiesTo represent the business needs and interests within IT, contributing to appropriate IT team, operational and development meetingsTo maintain a detailed knowledge of the key business processes and systems employed by the businessLead solution business requirements gathering and solutioningTo maintain an up to date, detailed understanding of both Business and IT strategyTo assist with the prioritization of projects, particularly using cost / benefit analysis to proactively managing business demandTo assist the Enterprise Architect to develop the information technology architecture model by being able to make objective recommendations regarding the relative fit of technology to business needTo maintain a detailed understanding of IT both operational performance and progress of ongoing development, playing a leading role in problem resolutionTo assist with the operational and commercial relationship management of third party suppliersTo assist the business to form process and systems solutions that are appropriate and adequate to satisfy both tactical and strategic business needsTo play a proactive role in Service Level Agreement negotiationsConduct solution / vendor RFP'sAct as a project leader / manager, coordinating the work of both internal and external IT resources when required.Participate in the organization's Change Management ProcessKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETENCIES

This job will be performed in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Overnight travel will be rare and infrequent for this role. Position is Remote.
