Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOlivine needs a highly skilled and experienced Manager to oversee Energy Market Operations and dispatch functions within our Virtual Power Plant (VPP) business. You possess a deep understanding of the energy industry, including wholesale and energy markets, risk management, and hedging strategies.

What You will Do :

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of Energy Market Operations
• Develop and implement effective strategies for managing profits at risk for a portfolio of behind the meter resources.
• Analyze market trends and identify opportunities to optimize energy portfolios and reduce risks.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and support to team members to transfer knowledge, develop expertise and to ensure operational excellence is achieved for all trading and market related activities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of strategies and objectives; including teams encompassing Marketing, Legal, Sales, and Accounting
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement overall business strategies and plans
• Provide regular reporting to senior management on key performance indicators, risks, and opportunities. Provide Profit / Loss explanation related to portfolio and assist in variance explanation and corrective action.
