REO Plastics, Inc. is a progressive ISO certified custom injection molding company that has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process & Automation Technician.

Position Summary :

The Process & Automation Technician will be assisting the Process Engineer in designing, building and improving auxiliary equipment to maximize productivity on new and existing products.

Key Tasks :

Help build and automate machinery.

Research potential benefits of automation and improvements to justify costs.

Train personnel in the use and benefits of new equipment.

Collaborate with others in the evaluation of production equipment needs and make recommendations for the selection of new equipment.

Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Read and comply with work instructions, set up sheets, and checklists.

Knowledge of 5S and Lean Manufacturing concepts

Knowledge of plastic injection molding methods, processes, and procedures is preferred

Have the ability to solve problems and make decisions independently as required.

Attention to Detail

Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks

Must be able to sit, stand, and move throughout the plant for extended periods.
