California Licensed Senior Civil Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their road, highway, and rail / transit team.

Key Responsibilities :

Utilize specifications to complete and finalize highway and road designs in collaboration with engineers and clients

Design horizontal and vertical geometry for highway projects and analyze cross sections and grading

Lead and mentor junior engineers on various transportation projects and perform material quantity takeoffs and estimates

Required Qualifications :

Minimum of a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is desirable

8 years or more of related road / highway design experience preferred, with substantial work in horizontal / vertical geometrics

Experience designing highways, roads, and intersections, including calculating vertical clearances and drafting in CAD

PE license in California or other states is highly preferred

Experience with Caltrans projects is highly desirable
