JOB SUMMARY
The Corporate Scheduler provides companywide scheduling expertise and is responsible for facilitating training, advisement and support of the company’s scheduling efforts. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Corporate Scheduler interacts and collaborates regularly with the Director of Operations, the Director of Preconstruction, Senior Superintendents, Project Executives and Sr Project Managers. The Corporate Scheduler maintains an awareness of the project status and proactively provides support and advice on schedule related issues during construction execution, planning and for project pursuits.
JOB SCOPE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Primary Accountabilities
- Facilitate and develop our scheduling capabilities
Training
Coordinate and manage third party training resources
AdviseIdentify and share best practices
SupportUpdate and maintain Pankow Scheduling Manual
Collect, organize and archive past schedules for future referenceCollect and update individual activity metricsDevelop ASTA templatesCollaborate with Operations to maintain and keep current company scheduling standardsTechnicalCoordinate with IT scheduling software licenses & maintenance
Provide Database Management for Elecosoft Powerproject, Primavera P6, other scheduling softwareLiaison with scheduling consultantsStay connected with industry, trends & software advancements4D scheduling integration
Last Planner / WWP - Master Schedule integrationConstruction Planning (Proposal + Preconstruction Phase)Develop / maintain standard durations database
Create / support preliminary schedule as directed by the Project ExecutiveCreate baseline construction schedule for projectsInitiate, communication and manage scheduling consultant resourcesLead schedule review meetings with project teams and stakeholdersConstruction ExecutionProactively advise and make recommendations to the Senior Superintendent and Director of Operations
Train and mentor project team members in scheduling best practices.
Assess project schedule to assure compliance with company standardsAssist project team with monthly project schedule updatesExecute monthly project schedule updates, if needed.
Conduct Time Impact Analysis (TIA) and identify potential delays and impactsSupport project teams with Client review and comments.QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of 15 years of industry experience with a focus on scheduling and field experience (has knowledge, experience, and understanding of how to build a building)10 years of CPM scheduling experience preferred
