Manufacturing Electrician
Summary
The Electrician will troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, parts, electrical systems, fixtures, circuit breakers and control panels.
This position requires extensive knowledge of electrical components as well as electrical safety codes and regulations. Responsibilities : Maintain, calibrate, configure, monitor, test, troubleshoot, install, and repair instrumentation, process controls, data acquisition systems, and electrical systems.
Investigate, diagnose, correct, and document instrumentation or system malfunctions and provide appropriate reporting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary.
- Read blueprints or technical diagrams.
- Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
- Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code
Education and / or Experience Must be licensed. Related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
