Maintenance Generalist - Journey
The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Anchorage International Airport, is looking for a Maintenance Generalist - Journey to help us Keep Alaska Moving!
What you will be doing :
The Maintenance Generalist-Journey position is responsible for carrying out the daily work necessary to maintain and operate equipment across all State-owned buildings at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. This includes the execution of work across multiple tradessuch as carpentry, mechanics, and general repairsas well as the operation and maintenance of HVAC, security, communication, fire alarm, and fire suppression systems. In total, the team maintains 35 State-owned public facilities.

Special Note :
Possess a current and valid Driver`s License and should have or be able to obtain a 3rd Class Boilerman`s Certificate.
Incumbent must pass an FBI fingerprint based, criminal history records check per 49 CFR Part 1542 and a Transportation Security Administration Security Threat Assessment to obtain an airport issued Identification Badge. If access to US Customs and Border Protection is needed to carry out duties of their job, they must also pass a criminal history check per 19 CFR Part 122.181-188.
