Salary : $55-70k DOE

Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a manufacturing company in the Hanover, New Oxford, East Berlin PA area.

Essential Functions of the Job :

Lead Capital Improvement Projects (handle 3-5 projects at a time)

Be involved in all Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing initiatives (Lead Kaizen events in areas of 5S, TPM, Standard Work, Set-up Reduction / SMED, etc) (Get involved with daily lean activities of improving quality, cost, delivery and safety metrics)

Re-layout work areas / conduct time studies to improve productivity, safety, and quality

Work on reducing inventories and improving turns

Work on improving the efficiencies of equipment and adding automation where possible

Work on quality improvements and help with programming of machining equipment for increased productivity.

DESIRED Skills and Experience :

Companies prefer a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering

Need someone who is technical with 2 plus years working on equipment improvements. Seeking a more experienced individual for another plant that pays 90-100k.

Working experience with Lean manufacturing and leading CI projects

Strong communicator with all levels of workers
