Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Duration : 13-week travel nursing contract

Shift : 6 : 30am – 7 : 00pm (12-hour shifts)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Hours : Saturday rotation every 6 weeks

Call Requirements : Minimum 40 hours per 6 weeks

Unit : 31 state-of-the-art Operating Rooms

Patient Ratio : 1 : 1 nurse-to-patient ratio

EMR : Cerner

Scrubs : Provided by facility

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1740 - $1860

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Kentucky RN license (Registered Nurse)

BLS and NIH Stroke certifications required

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience

Prior travel nursing experience preferred

Experience with high acuity surgical patients preferred

Proficiency with advanced surgical technology (Mako, DaVinci, O-Arm, Rosa robots)

Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn across multiple service lines

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative care to surgical patients in a fast-paced operating room environment

Assist with complex surgical procedures including neuro (spine / cranial), orthopedic (robotics / arthroscopic), thoracic, vascular, transplant, and ENT / radical neck surgeries

Maintain a 1 : 1 patient ratio to ensure individualized nursing care

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and utilize advanced surgical equipment

Participate in call rotation and scheduled weekend shifts

Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment to ongoing professional development

Comply with facility policies, procedures, and dress code standards
