Role Overview : Systems Reliability Engineer
Systems Reliability Engineers (SREs) apply software engineering principles to architect, design, automate, monitor, and scale applications. They operate and engineer software platforms aligned with business needs, focusing on resilient and efficient architectures. SREs improve quality through a data-driven approach, emphasizing instrumentation, automation, and testing. Their primary responsibilities include designing, implementing, and supporting infrastructure, tools, and services for both internal and customer-facing applications across Disney business units.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a specialist in compute infrastructure with deep systems administration experience in Linux, Windows, networking, hypervisors, and storage
Design, build, and support CI / CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring solutions
Collaborate with business partners to facilitate infrastructure migrations and promote DevOps best practices
Accelerate technology adoption through consultation, onboarding, and enablement of new tools and platforms
Engineer for high reliability, security, and operational excellence across on-premises and cloud environments
Develop and maintain telemetry, documentation, and best practices for performance, capacity, and incident management
Act as a subject matter expert in Disney compute infrastructure, sharing knowledge across teams

The pay range for this position is $97.97 - $97.97 / hr.
