LOCATION : Lehi, UT

POSITION OVERVIEW :

The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure. This role ensures that all employees have the tools and support they need to work efficiently and securely. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a passion for technology and excellent customer service skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Respond to user requests for technical assistance via phone, email, chat, or in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on Windows and Mac systems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in systems such as Active Directory, Office 365, Google Workspace, and other internal tools.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup and access provisioning.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure timely replacement, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Support remote and hybrid employees with VPN, remote desktop, and connectivity issues.
  • Document common problems, solutions, and best practices in the internal knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on system upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and assist in enforcing company data protection standards.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Experience in IT support or help desk environment.
  • Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and mobile operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (LAN / WAN, TCP / IP, DNS, VPN).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent is a huge plu s
