Vice President, Human Resources Director
Job Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented part-time (average 30 hours per week) Media Accounting Coordinator to support the financial operations of commercial productions. You will work closely with the Controller and Producer to manage day-to-day expenses, handle vendor payments, reconcile petty cash, and ensure accurate tracking of production costs. This is a great role for someone looking to grow within the world of production finance in advertising and branded content.
Salary : $25 / HR (with benefits)
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with accounts payable : code, and track invoices and payments.
- Process and reconcile petty cash, credit card charges, and purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain accounting files (physical and digital) for each job.
- Work with production teams to gather, verify, and input cost documentation.
- Liaise with vendors and crew to collect W-9s & invoices, payroll onboarding & timecards, and resolve payment issues.
- Support job wrap processes including reconciliations, final cost reports, and file deliveries.
- Maintain cost trackers and expense reports throughout the life of the production.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting, preferably in commercial or short-form production.Proficiency in Excel, ProHire and ProBooks (Revolution Payroll) would be awesome.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with fast-paced deadlines.Professional communication skills for interacting with crew, vendors, and internal teams.Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects.Ability to adapt to evolving systems and procedures.Seniority level : Associate
