Key Responsibilities (Making Your Impact)
Provide comprehensive, evidence-based assessment and diagnosis for acute and chronic wounds in mobile settings.
Execute advanced wound procedures (e.g., debridement, biopsy, specialized dressing selection).
Collaborate seamlessly with the patient's care network (physicians, home health, etc.) to ensure continuity of care.
Drive operational efficiency by documenting meticulously in the EMR and recommending workflow improvements based on lean principles.
Deliver essential patient and caregiver education on wound management and prevention.
What You Bring (Required Credentials)
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Michigan.
Minimum of 2 years of NP experience.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for the mobile role.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and independent decision-making skills.
Desired Expertise (A Plus, Not a Must)
Experience in a relevant field : wound care, home health, geriatrics, or palliative care.
Willingness to obtain a Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWS, CWCN) within the first year of employment.
