Title : Logistics Supervisor
Location : Archdale, NC (onsite 5 days / week)
Duration : Permanent
Pay : Starting at 70k depending on experience.
Must Have :
- Minimum of five years' experience supervising in logistics / dispatching roles or equivalent field service experience.
- Background in environmental and industrial services.
- General knowledge of DOT, OSHA and EPA environmental regulations.
- Must be experienced in using Microsoft Office and become familiar with other software used in A&D operations.
- Ability to visit customer locations, wear appropriate PPE and assist, as needed.
- Must be able to work flexible hours beyond the normal schedule when necessary.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Schedules and monitors operations including assignment of manpower, materials and equipment in support of environmental and industrial services projects.Develop and maintain a culture focused on employee safety.Conduct and / or support training as appropriate with employees on OSHA and other appropriate safety-related topics. Ensures compliance with OSHA, DOT and EPA regulatory standards for training, physicals and fit for duty testingCoordinate with EHS group for compliance with environmental regulations, permitting and reporting requirements.Complies with and promotes all company safety and environmental policies and procedures.Assists with training new employees or newly promoted employees in the field.Field Service Operations
Works with Project Managers (PM's) and Technical Sales Representatives (TSR's) to schedule customer projects.Assigns manpower and equipment for projects.Works with Purchasing to ensure required materials are available as needed.Assists Project Managers with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, rental companies and transportation providers to schedule shipments of materials and equipment.Assist in visiting prospective job sites to evaluate scope of work, personnel and supplies needed to perform project.Communicates with Fleet Management & Maintenance to ensure equipment is scheduled for PM's, inspections & repairs to maximize uptime and availability.Maintains communication with Site Supervisors and Drivers to monitor work progress and expected project completion.Manage drivers and related personnel to ensure compliance with DOT Hours of Service, training and other associated requirements.Adjusts manpower and equipment needs as directed by Resource Manager.Assists Resource Manager with reconciliation and reporting of electronic time-keeping.Assists Resource Manager and PM's to prepare job folders and pre-billing information.Assists Site Supervisors in preparation for customer projects and ER calls, as needed.Assist with appropriate paperwork, as required (e.g. purchase orders, manifests, assigning Service Ticket numbers, appointment scheduling of crews, employee discipline, etc.).Benefits :
