Location : Dallas, TX

Pay : $25 – $32 / hour (Based on Experience)

Type : Temp-to-Hire

Reports To : Data Processing & VDP Manager

About the Role

We’re seeking a Data / Text Specialist with hands-on experience in the direct mail and print production industry . This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and enjoys managing data and variable print projects from start to finish.

You’ll work closely with our production, graphics, and mailing teams to ensure every project meets USPS regulations, client specifications, and internal quality standards.

What You’ll Do

Review, inspect, and troubleshoot client data files prior to processing.

Analyze and validate client data according to business rules and job instructions.

Ensure all necessary materials and data are ready for processing.

Assign tasks and follow up with the data processing team to keep projects on track.

Communicate with sales, production, and mail floor teams to align project timelines.

Apply your knowledge of USPS mail piece design and postal requirements.

Use BCC Mail Manager Software for database management and postal presort.

Perform quality control checks on all outputs — including postal reports, Mail.dat files, VDP data, inkjet mailings, and PDF proofs.

Utilize Inspire Designer / Scaler / Production Software for variable data print setup.

Manage multiple projects and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.

Identify and resolve data or production issues efficiently.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in the Print / Mail Industry is highly preferred — especially in data processing, variable data printing (VDP), or postal presort.

Strong understanding of current USPS regulations and mail piece design standards.

Proficiency with BCC Mail Manager and Inspire Designer (or similar software).

Advanced knowledge of data management tools and production workflows.

Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.

Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a deadline-driven setting.
