DESCRIPTION :

The Senior Accountant - Inventory, Costing, and Revenue is responsible for accurate accounting and reporting of inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and revenue in compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal control requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). This role provides essential support to the finance team by maintaining integrity in cost data, ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition, and contributing to internal and external audit processes.

Requirements : RESPONSIBILITIES :

Inventory and Cost Accounting

• Monitor, record and reconcile inventory transactions in ERP systems.
• Perform monthly inventory sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliations.
• Monitor, analyze and investigate RNI, PPV, inventory variances, shrinkage, labor and obsolescence.
• Review and ensure inventory is properly valued under standard or weighted average costing.
• Assist in the review of inventory reserves and shrink.
• Assist with special projects assigned and additional duties as assigned.
