SUMMARY :

The Account Manager will assist Aeris Insurance Solutions in serving current and new business customers. Effectively manage a book of business containing selected accounts by following defined processes in accordance with the company's Vision, Mission, and Values.

To appropriately delegate tasks and responsibilities to other members of the service team. They will efficiently coordinate with the accounting team for any accounts payable and receivable concerns.

Assist the leadership team in procedural training of new employees.

To perform these responsibilities at a high level of excellence, the account manager must have the following key skills and competencies :

  • The capability to quickly learn and understand the business dynamics and operations at Aeris.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build authentic relationships with the team and the people we do business with.
  • Able to communicate well both verbally and in written form.

Organizational skills :

  • Highly organized with the use of their time, energy, and mental capacity to achieve the agencys vision.
  • Plans and prioritizes duties. Knows how to anticipate being adaptable to meet changing customer needs and aviation insurance market conditions.

Orientation toward process and structure :

Consistent with following defined processes while also being able to problem-solve and develop creative solutions and processes.

Experience :

  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products, and online software platforms.
  • Experience in using customer relationship management (CRM) tools is preferrable but not required.
  • Aviation Insurance and / or Property & Casualty Insurance experience is optional.

Role and Responsibilities :

1. Be the single point of accountability for the day-to-day operations and service needs of the assigned book of business based on the Vision, Mission and Values.

2. Have complete Account Management responsibilities for a book of business to include :

  • Manage Service Processes of a book of business :
  • Executing the Renewal Process
  • Executing Endorsement Processes
  • Executing Claims Processes
  • Executing Activity Processes
  • Process Insurance Policies
  • Manage Account Documentation / Filing Process for your book of business.
  • Coordinate the execution of Service processes with the Service Processing Team.
  • Coordinating the execution of the New Business Process with Account Executive and / or Producer
  • Coordinating Accounts Payable and Receivables related to your book of business with Accounting Team, Account Executive and / or Producer.
  • Be the primary point of contact for all service needs related to the assigned book of business.
  • Supporting the Service Team

3. Be involved with Communications and Team Meetings

a. All Staff - As Required

b. Weekly team meetings.

c. Insurance Carriers - Service as Required

d. Customers - Service as Required

e. Service Team - As Required

f. Accounting

  • Assisting with Accounts Payable related to the book of business.
  • Assisting with Accounts Receivable related to the book of business.
  • Account Executive and / or Producers - As Required

4. Other duties as required

5. Individual Training and Development

Salary and benefits are negotiable depending on demonstrated skills, abilities, and experience. This role will require having or training to obtain a Property and Casualty Insurance license in the state of residence.

Preference will be given to candidate who can work full time in the company's Olathe, Kansas office located on the Johnson County Airport.

Opportunity for hybrid remote working flexibility a few days per months is possible for the right candidate.

Salary Range : $40,000-$60,000 per year depending on skills and experience.

Benefits : Health Insurance is negotiable based on needs.
