CompDrug has an immediate opportunity for a conscientious physician with a background in or interest in gaining experience in the field of addiction medicine.
The successful candidate will fill an integral role on Medical Team providing medication management services to our patients seeking Medicated Assisted Treatment for Opiate Use Disorder.
The Staff Physician will see individual patients and provide clinical supervision to medical staff members, including RNs, LPNs, and RN Physician Extenders.
This is a full time opportunity (minimum 32 hours per week) with flexibility in scheduling around our current medicating hours of 6 am - 1 pm.
There may be staff and educational meetings from time to time following medicating hours which require attendance. This position may require working approximately 1 Saturday shift (approx.
3 hours in the morning) per month. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and an interest in working in a person-centered environment as a collaborative team member.
This position requires a current, valid MD or DO license in the state of Ohio, with DEA certification for scheduled medications.
Willingness and desire to participate in the education of staff and other learners (fellows, residents, medical students) are required.
