Our dynamic and fast-growing company in the food manufacturing industry is seeking a Permanent Production Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team and oversee our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our production lines are running smoothly and efficiently, and that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. The Production Supervisor will work closely with the production team to optimize productivity and maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

1. Supervise the production process to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards and regulations.

2. Constantly inspect all production lines to ensure product meets specifications.

3. Ensure compliance with GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), SSOP's (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) and safety policies.

4. Complete all necessary company paperwork related to production, quality control, and safety.

5. Work and assist with sanitation cleaning as needed to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

6. Manage and train production staff to ensure a high level of performance and efficiency.

7. Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve productivity.

8. Use MS Office to track, analyze, and report on production data.

9. Monitor production process to ensure smooth flow and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement new processes as required.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in a discipline supporting food manufacturing operations or 3+ years equivalent experience and training.

2. Minimum of 2 years of food manufacturing experience.

3. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor.

4. In-depth understanding of GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures), SSOP's (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures), and safety policies.

5. Proficiency in MS Office.

6. Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

7. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, with excellent problem-solving skills.

9. Experience in production management, with a proven track record of improving efficiency and productivity.

10. Requires 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
