Job Description Summary :

The Anthropology Faculty supports learning on campus and all distance learning modalities. Our faculty teach students at ACC campuses and within our dual credit high school programs. Responsible to prepare and deliver coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to student success and creating an environment that promotes belonging for all. This position starts in August 2026.

Job Description :

Our Anthropology program prepares students to acquire a solid foundation in the discipline of anthropology, including the major subfields of cultural anthropology, biological / physical anthropology, and archaeology. Through coursework, they develop essential academic skills such as critical thinking, research, writing, and cross-cultural analysis.

The program emphasizes both content knowledge and transferable skills, preparing students for successful continuation of their studies. Graduates are well-positioned for smooth transfer into four-year degree programs in anthropology and related fields.
