• Monday - Friday, 3 pm - 7 pm Job Type : Part-Time Position Pay : $16.00 Per Hour Position ID : UE00J Position Overview As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at  Allied Community Care , you will play a crucial role in providing personalized care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• This rewarding position involves assisting our clients in their daily activities, fostering community engagement, and promoting independence.
• Responsibilities Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in their homes or community settings.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and academic support.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages socialization and community integration.
• Implement individualized care plans and support goals to enhance the quality of life for each individual.
• Document and maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress, and any incidents or seizures.
• Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in human services or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have all Covid vaccinations and agree to wear an N95 mask 100% of service time.
• Must have a clean background (background checks are a requirement) Must have reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to varying needs and preferences of individuals.
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
