Your impact
- Lead a team of second-shift CNC machinists to hit schedules and quality targets.
- Set up and operate CNC equipment (lathes and mills) to produce precise components.
- Track job performance, making in-process adjustments to maintain optimal throughput.
- Collaborate with engineering on process improvements and to resolve machining challenges.
- Train, coach, and reinforce best practices in machining and shop safety.
- Perform frequent in-process inspections to verify parts meet drawings and specifications.
- Keep the work area organized and compliant with all safety standards and company policies.
What you bring
High school diploma or equivalent; formal machining training or certification preferred.10+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience.3+ years of offline programming experience (Mastercam experience a plus).Deep knowledge of machining processes and tooling selection.Ability to read prints and interpret GD&T.Proven leadership, clear communication, and a collaborative mindset.Sharp problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.Strong working knowledge of safety practices in a machining environment.Technical strengths
