We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented junior attorney who is fluent in Mandarin to join our client's in-house legal team. This position is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level legal candidate to gain hands-on experience in corporate and commercial legal matters, while also working on high-impact cross-border transactions. The role provides a collaborative environment with mentorship opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities :

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including NDAs, vendor contracts, supply agreements, distribution deals, and licensing arrangements.
• Provide legal support to business units on daily operations and assist with cross-border transactions.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and support corporate governance initiatives.
• Manage contract documentation and oversee the implementation of contract management systems.
• Liaise with external counsel to address specialized legal matters as needed.
• Conduct legal research and provide guidance on a range of legal issues impacting the organization.
• Participate in developing and streamlining internal processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar membership in any state.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, both written and verbal, is essential.
• 1-3 years of legal experience, preferably with exposure to commercial transactions (recently licensed attorneys with corporate externship or clinical work will be considered).
• Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills with sound business judgment.
• Familiarity with the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to collaborate with a small team and take on diverse responsibilities.
