Materials Manager

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Materials Manager to oversee the management of medical supplies and equipment for our surgery center. This full-time role is critical to the day-to-day operations, ensuring that clinical staff have the materials they need while maintaining compliance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities :
- Manage the ordering, receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts
- Monitor supply levels and anticipate departmental needs to prevent shortages
- Communicate with vendors regarding order discrepancies, backorders, and pricing
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Supervise and mentor materials team members or assistants as applicable
- Collaborate with the clinical team to optimize workflow and supply management processes
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper storage of all supply areas
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, supply chain management, or related field preferredPrevious experience in materials management, preferably in a surgical or healthcare settingStrong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detailProficient with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent communication and teamwork skillsWhy Join Us?
