Job Summary
Summary : Uses Concessions equipment to cook and prepare food for athletic events. When needed, directly supervises food-service associates in accordance with policies, procedures and applicable laws.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Prepares, cooks, and wraps food for service in Concessions.
- Uses Concessions equipment (grills, fryers, flat tops, warmers, etc.) in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
- Uses approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
- Operates and cleans equipment in accordance with department procedures after each event.
- Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy; maintains established food rotations in storage in order to minimize spoilage and waste.
- Scheduled for earliest shifts in order to be prepped and ready for event day.
- Advises management of purchasing requirements with a focus on minimizing waste and avoiding product shortages.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
