Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cath Lab Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Duration : 26 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Tech with two years of recent experience and ARRT or RCIS certification for high-acuity cardiac cath lab procedures. Responsibilities Work in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab settings Patient population includes young, middle, and older adults Procedures include diagnostic catheterization, coronary athrectomy, IABP placement and removal, Impella insertion, orbital and rotoblader athrectomy, PCI, PTCA, TAVR, Watchman, and Mitraclip Day shifts, 4x10 hours from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM Call required : 7 on-call shifts and 5 late shifts every 6 weeks, 30-minute callback time One week of call (Friday-Sunday) every 6 weeks taken together, remaining days distributed as needed One elective Saturday shift per 6-week period All staff and travelers rotate holiday coverage Uses Epic EMR; experience preferred but not required Perform high-acuity diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment 30-day work authorization in VA available while awaiting permanent licensure Scrub attire required per clinical policies Two professional references required for consideration All staff and travelers participate in holiday rotations Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab experience; 3 years preferred Current ARRT with VA or other state license required or RCIS / CCI certification required (license required if applicable) Interventional radiology or critical care experience preferred Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Current RTT or RTR status Proficiency with procedures such as Impella and IABP insertion / removal preferred Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-617875.
