Job Summary :

The Welder I will be responsible for safely employing a welding process with certain parameters while achieving high-quality welds. Understanding blueprints, calculating dimensions, monitoring heat used in welding, and knowing the basic controls of welding equipment are important duties of this position. The Welder I will work closely with the production team to meet production goals and ensure all welding tasks are completed according to specifications. Other duties may be assigned, and key responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Welding Operations :

• Safely perform GMAW and / or GTAW of Steel.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements.
• Understand weld symbols per AWS A2.4.
• Perform machine-to-machine material handling.
• Ensure that welds comply with customer requirements.
• Safely meet established labor efficiency and production goals such as throughput and quality of work.
