Manufacturing Carpenter

Assembler - Lubbock, TX

We are currently seeking dedicated manufacturing carpenters to join our team at a facility that specializes in building and repairing modular trailers. This role requires the use of hand tools, the ability to read a tape measure, and the operation of various equipment. Prior experience in basic electrical work, carpentry, and plumbing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry repairs on modular trailers.
• Use and operate hand and power tools efficiently.
• Read and interpret tape measures accurately.
• Conduct repairs, cleaning, and installation services.
• Inspect and maintain walls, siding, roofing, and windows.
• Clean and maintain work areas, including the use of a floor buffer.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

The role involves both indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions, including hot and cold environments. Work inside trailers that may not have air conditioning. The dress code requires steel toe boots, work pants, and a t-shirt. Safety glasses and gloves are provided by the company.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lubbock, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
