Location : Remote

Position Type : Full-Time

Salary : $55,000

The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining the credentialing and recredentialing process for healthcare providers to ensure compliance with organizational, state and federal requirements. The role verifies the qualifications, licensure, education, training and professional background of providers. The specialist must demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, confidentiality and knowledge of credentialing standards and healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and maintain current and accurate data for all providers
  • Complete provider credentialing, recredentialing applications; revalidations; monitors applications and follows-up as needed
  • Maintain copies of current state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage and any other required credentialing documents for all providers
  • Maintain corporate provider contract files
  • Maintain knowledge of current health plan and agency requirements for credentialing providers
  • Set up and maintain provider information in online credentialing databases and system
  • Track license and certification expirations for all providers to ensure timely renewals
  • Ensure practice addresses are current with health plans, agencies and other entities
  • Continue to expand and learn additional tasks related to credentialing as needs grow within Radpod

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant credentialing experience
  • Working experience in CAQH, PECOS, Availity, Verity, etc
  • Willingness to learn and build a process around onboarding new clients for payer claim enrollment and EFT enrollments
  • Self-driven and motivated with great attention to detail
  • Comfortable with multitasking and working in a tech-driven environment
  • Organized and focused while navigating multiple systems
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
