Senior Project Manager It

The Senior Project Manager IT plays a critical role in leading and delivering complex IT projects within the Enterprise Project Management Office. This position requires strong technical acumen and proven experience managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation through implementation across various IT domains such as infrastructure, systems integration, application development, and cybersecurity. The Sr. PM partners closely with IT subject matter experts, systems analysts, developers, and external vendors to ensure successful execution of IT-related projects that support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of IT projects. Ensure scope, schedule, and budget are well-defined and aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate closely with IT subject matter experts, system analysts, architects, and developers to understand technical dependencies, sequence tasks, and translate them into actionable project plans.
• Build and maintain detailed project schedules that reflect the interdependencies of technical and business tasks. Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Proactively identify risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and drive resolution in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.
• Serve as the main point of contact for project communications. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Apply appropriate project management methodologies and tools to support project delivery.
• Guide cross-functional project teams, facilitate meetings, and ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes, improvement areas, and lessons learned to enhance future delivery.
