General Responsibilities :

• Offer analytical contributions towards top-level strategy, planning, forecasting, resource allocation, performance measurement, scheduling, the design of production facilities and systems, supply chain management, pricing, transportation and distribution, and the analysis of large databases
• Troubleshoot material discrepancies and provide corrective actions using government / nongovernment databases including WebFLIS, FEDLOG, GSA Advantage
• Make unique material master numbers, performing material master number extensions, processing tracking logs, documenting / reviewing / completing Navy ERP HEAT tickets upholding Navy policy and / or regulation compliance
• Create reports for internal teams and / or external clients, collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data, use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data
• Measure Key Performance indicator (KPI)’s effectiveness, search large data sets to find usable information (to include industry databases), data management, and create presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings
• Use mathematical models to describe the NSWCCD by compiling and analyzing data using analytical techniques such as, simulation, linear and nonlinear programming, dynamic programming, queuing and other stochastic-process models, and the analytical hierarchy process
• Report findings and recommendations via written and oral presentations

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field OR High School Diploma and 5+ years or prior military, DoD or related business experience related to data management
• 3+ years of experience with coding skills in languages such as SQL, Python, and / or R
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with statistical software (e.g., Stata, SPSS)
• Have knowledge of data gathering, cleaning, and transforming techniques
• Expertise in reporting and data skills using software(s) like Tableau
• Possess a thorough understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• U.S. Citizen
• Possess a favorably adjudicated PSI at a T3 level (preferred, not required)
