Senior Tax Specialist Wealth Management A leading independent, fee-only wealth management firm is seeking a Senior Tax Specialist to join its growing team. The Opportunity
In this role, youll support individual, trust, and business clients with comprehensive tax preparation and planning. Youll work closely with advisors and tax managers to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and proactive communication while contributing to strategic planning and problem-solving initiatives. This is a growth-oriented position with exposure to diverse client needs and the chance to advance within a fast-expanding firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process tax returns for individuals, trusts, and businesses
- Manage client documentation and internal tax portals
- Review, input, and validate tax data for accuracy
- Collaborate with clients, advisors, and managers to meet deadlines
- Assist with tax projections, IRS / state notices, and adjusting entries
- Maintain accurate records in CRM, tax software, and client systems
- Support special projects and contribute to process improvements
Ideal Background
47 years of progressive tax experience across individual, S Corp, Partnership, and Trust returnsProficiency with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and tax software (CCH Axcess preferred)Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage high-volume workflowsExcellent communication skills and a client-first mindsetWhats Offered
