Construction / Facilities Manager
You will plan overall work assignments on an immediate and long-range basis in accordance with established schedule requirements.
You will ensure plans, blueprints, materials, and tools are available, and needed stock is obtained from supply locations.
You will maintain a current knowledge, and answer questions of other workers on procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives.
You will control the work of the lead shops and coordinate the work of the miscellaneous trades that are assigned work within the zone.
You will establish, assign, and explain work requirements to subordinate supervisors, setting deadlines, priorities, and sequences to be followed for work operations.
You will identify training and qualification needs of subordinates; effect on-the-job training, recommend personnel actions, and enforce disciplinary actions.
Must be a US Citizen.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and / or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Must complete successfully all necessary nuclear and non-nuclear training, and pass any physical requirements required in the performance of the position.
Must successfully pass a Counter-Intelligence (CI) Polygraph on a random basis not to exceed every 5 years in the performance of the position.
Ability to supervise through subordinate supervisors.
