This employment opportunity is for students who are interested in promoting library resources and services in fun, active, and entertaining ways. Working collaboratively with other student outreach compeers and the library Outreach Committee the successful candidate for this position will :

• Promote library resources and services to the general student body through targeted activities, such as library events, tabling, etc.
• Plan and publicize library events that foster engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
• Recommend ways to improve the Union student library experience, by sharing stories, facilitating student focus groups, and / or conducting quick feedback activities.
• Meet with the Schaffer Outreach Committee once (or twice) a term to report on activities and share information.
• Create engaging promotional materials, including short videos (reels), library swag, posters, and social media posts.

This position reports to the Outreach and Student Engagement Librarian.
