A rapidly growing diagnostic testing organization is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead commercial growth across the Los Angeles market and surrounding territory. This role requires a strong background in diagnostic sales and the ability to provide light leadership, mentorship, and strategic guidance to support territory performance. The ideal candidate has deep relationships within oncology, specialty practices, or hospital networks and a proven track record of driving adoption of diagnostic or lab-based solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and grow a high-value diagnostic testing territory, focusing on new account acquisition and expanding existing relationships
- Build strong partnerships with clinicians, oncology practices, pathology groups, and health system stakeholders
- Provide light leadership to support sales initiatives — mentoring peers, assisting with onboarding, and helping shape territory strategy
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan aligned with company objectives and revenue targets
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, medical affairs, operations, and senior leadership
- Analyze territory trends, competitive activity, and market opportunities to inform strategy
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking within the CRM
Qualifications :
3–7+ years of diagnostic sales experience (oncology, molecular, genetic, specialty lab, or related strongly preferred)Demonstrated success managing and scaling a sales territoryLight leadership experience — mentoring peers, training new reps, or leading small initiativesStrong communication skills and the ability to influence clinical decision-makersAbility to travel within the territoryBachelor's degree preferred
