Description :

BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Licensure in California is mandatory.

Start date is as soon as possible with bi-weekly Wednesday starts.

The shift is 12 hours, from 0700 to 1930.

Mandatory weekend shifts are required.

Floating within the scope of practice is expected, including to PCU, Tele, and Med-Surg.

Common diagnoses / treatments include ARDS, sepsis, neurosurgery, stroke, cardiac surgery, IABP, Impella, CRRT, multi-organ failure, and shock.

The unit has 25 beds with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 2.

Charting is conducted through Cerner.

Scrub color is flexible.

Special procedures include bronchoscopy, chest tubes, central lines, ICP monitoring, and lumbar drains.
