The Opportunity
Landmark Valuation Services (LVS) owns and manages a key technology platform that enables the management, instruction and transmission of property data between lenders, surveyors and other third parties.
The company is in a midst of a transformation, with the overall goal of ensuring greater efficiencies within our customers' businesses, and creating value for them. The overall mission of the Landmark Group is to completely digitise the property transaction process, through transparency and transmission of data, reducing transaction times significantly, leading to speed and certainty throughout the home buying and selling process.
The Head of Relationship Management in LVS will be responsible for all Lender and Surveyor relationships and sales, account management, business development and if appropriate, telesales. They will be highly engaged and influential within many of our key customers at a senior level, and will be responsible for the team of Relationship Managers and Business Development Managers within their team.
The Head of Relationship Management will design and execute a sales and relationship strategy, develop plans and campaigns to grow new revenues from the implementation of upgraded technologies and products within our base, as well as retain existing revenues, protect existing revenue from competitors, and deliver growth from existing accounts.
The objective of the Head of Relationship Management is to grow gross revenue and win market share in line with budgeted gross revenue, net revenue and volume expectations. The role requires the ability to operate at a very senior level, and gain insights from customers with the output being sales and relationship strategies that win and retain business.
Build and maintaining networks within the industry and strong relationships with key customers is an expectation, as is identifying and converting commercial opportunities with the top UK mortgage lenders and surveyors, doing this to an extent by themselves but also via the team below them.
In addition, this role will be required to support the Relationship Managers and BDMs in engaging deeply with customers at a detailed level to ascertain their long term goals and motivations, current and future wants and needs, engage them in user research / UX and design and work through the team with Product Management to ensure new technologies and solutions (for example, Vantage, SPN+, risk products and Automated Valuation Models) and help front the successful migrations of customers onto the new platforms.
