About The Role

Ramp is on a mission to redefine financial efficiency for modern businesses and organic search is central to how we scale that impact. As our Director of AEO & SEO , you’ll be responsible for crafting and executing a cutting-edge SEO strategy that goes far beyond traditional playbooks. From optimizing for generative AI and answer engines to building deeply technical and scalable content systems, you’ll play a critical role in driving awareness, acquisition, and authority. This is an opportunity to build a modern SEO function at one of the fastest-growing fintech companies in the world.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and execute Ramp’s full-funnel SEO strategy, from core web vitals to AI-first search optimization and everything in between
• Own and scale our AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) approach, ensuring Ramp shows up where AI-generated answers are being served across Google SGE, Perplexity, ChatGPT, and others
• Partner with engineering and product teams to identify technical SEO levers, including site architecture, crawl efficiency, structured data, and LLM-ready markup
• Build and lead a high-performing SEO team, integrating content strategy, analytics, and technical execution
• Constantly experiment with and adapt to the evolution of search, including zero-click SERPs, multimodal search, and generative search behavior
