About The Position

Job Title : MRI Technologist

Profession : Radiologic Technologist

Specialty : Radiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day Shift

Hours per Shift : 8.5 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required, with 3 years of recent MRI tech experience preferred.

License : Must be licensed to practice as a Radiologic Technologist.

Certifications : Must have BLS and ARRT (MRI) certifications attached to the submission packet.

Must-Have :

• Proficiency with Siemens and GE MRI scanners.
• Ability to change imaging parameters for various studies including soft tissue, arterial systems, brain, spine, joints, and extremities with or without the use of contrast media.

Description :

The MRI Technologist is responsible for providing timely imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.

The role requires the capability to adjust imaging parameters effectively.

Duties include performing MRI scans of soft tissue, the arterial system, the brain, spine, joints, and extremities.

The technologist will work on a schedule of four 10-hour shifts, split between two different campuses.

All candidates must have the necessary certifications and documentation to be considered for the position.
