Who we are looking for

Our ERP Specialist will serve as the bridge between our business operations and our Odoo ERP System. This position requires a business-minded, detail-oriented professional with strong technical (preferably in database) knowledge who can understand our processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and configure our ERP system to support our business needs. The ideal candidate is capable of translating business requirements into ERP functionality using Odoo, possess strong interpersonal skills, and handle multiple projects simultaneously with strong knowledge of database management and ERP systems. The candidate also should have 1-2 years of hands-on experience in database design and development.

Your day to day

Manage & maintain the Odoo ERP system, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and user satisfaction

Use Odoo Studio to customize the system and its features according to business requirements

Lead ERP-related projects from initiation to completion, juggling multiple priorities and ensuring alignment with business goals

Spearhead the design and development of databases to support ERP customization and other projects.

Work closely with all departments to align ERP functionalities with business needs and drive process improvements

Provide technical support for users, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors when necessary

Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure proficiency in processes

Participate in QA testing for new ERP functionalities and deployments, ensuring smooth rollouts and high standards

Act as the primary escalation point for Odoo ERP system issues, working directly with external providers to resolve problems

Work independently while collaborating with management & IT for guidance

Approach problem-solving methodically, using logical troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes and implement effective solutions

Assist IT with ERP-specific backup and recovery procedures

Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and tools

Develop and implement optimization strategies and scalability planning

Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency within the ERP system

Document ERP system structures, business processes, procedures, and best practices

Stay informed about Odoo updates, new features, and best practices

Support change management efforts when implementing new system features or process changes

Assist with other IT tasks as assigned

Your qualifications

Bachelors degree in any field, preferred Management Information Systems (MIS), IT, or CS

1-2 years of experience with Odoo, NetSuite, Sage, or other ERP systems

1-2 years of experience with database design and development, including creating tables, relationships, and basic schema design.

Strong knowledge of ERP systems and database management principles

Familiarity with manufacturing or distribution of ERP modules and processes with hands-on experience managing serialized items

Strong analytical mindset with systematic approach to problem identification and resolution

Understanding of data management principles, including data migration and data quality assurance.

Self-motivated with strong initiative and ability to manage multiple workloads

Understanding of data management principles and data quality assurance

Technical experience with QA processes and software deployment is a plus

Proven ability to manage multiple ERP projects, coordinate with cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), server administration, and hardware.

Ability to analyze complex technical issues and troubleshoot effectively, meticulously manage system configurations and maintain accurate documentation

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail

Enthusiasm for learning and exploring new technologies

Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and multi-task with minimal supervision

Strong interpersonal, organization, and team collaboration skills

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is an in-person role in our Henderson, NV, preferred. Most work will be performed in an office environment.
