Job Highlights :
Hours are variable each day of the week. Monday-Friday. Hours would be 5 : 30 am 2pm, 6 : 00 am-2 : 30 pm, 7 : 00-3 : 30 pm, 9 am -5 : 30 pm and 10am-6 : 30 pm.
This position would involve registration of patients at the Surgery and Care Center and scheduling of surgical patients for St. Mary's Hospital MOR and Surgery and Care.
A newly hired staff member would work the two early and late shifts when starting. Typically, only one late shift a week once fully trained. Training into scheduling usually starts 4-6 months after hire.
Job Summary :
Responsible for collecting data directly from patients and referring provider offices to confirm and create scheduled appointments for patient services.

High School diploma / GED or 10 years of work experience
EXPERIENCE : One year experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Frequent lifting / carrying and pushing / pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot / leg and hand / arm movements. Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors. Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. Frequent keyboard use / data entry. Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping. Occasional lifting / carrying and pushing / pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. Rare climbing.
