Allied Universal is currently hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a library in Boston, MA Saturday 12 PM - 8 PM + Monday 9 AM - 5 PM Starting pay is $21.20 per hour / Paid orientation / Paid training / Opportunity for advancement.

What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at a government location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.

Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel and / or Allied Universal management.

Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations and following emergency procedures as directed.

Maintain a professional presence and uphold the standards of Allied Universal while interacting with staff, visitors, and the public.

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
