• GE or Siemens MRI scanner experience
• Two (2) years of experience in MRI

Description :

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team.

You must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology.

Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is a plus.

Our ideal candidate knows how to operate the MRI machine efficiently.

You should be able to make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure.

A key part of this role is coordinating with the patient's physician to ensure that the results are received in a timely manner.

You must also be familiar with medical terminology and be able to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities include :

Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.

Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.

Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable.

Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information.

Perform patient care tasks as needed.

Specific equipment familiarity required includes :

All non-contrast exams, routine MSK, neuro, spine, and occasional body MRI.
